He's the most feared being in all of the land. He doesn't take kindly to other opinions about himself, or what he desires. He wants to rule and be feared amongst everyone, in the world. He wants power and lust for it, to the core. And, wants money, too.
He kills anyone and everyone that stands in his way of obtaining internal glory, internal rule. He'd do what it takes to gain power and be a 'king' of many.
He has kidnapped children, raised them to be his loyal followers.
He has brought pain to everyone he encounters. By taking what's most precious to them, what's most valuable in their/there life/life's.
If he knowledges somebody to be of a threat to his existent: He'll do what it takes to 'kill' them.
He studied magic, spells. Researched on things that could help him in the end result.
He obtained a special jewel emerald, one of its kind and rare at that. It's power: Casting out a powerful illusion to those creatures around it. Only way of escaping this illusion? By touching it, the user can escape it.
Over time, after much dedicated research. He finds a powerful spell that can turn him; immortal (Lets use this after he encounters the main character). Making him nearly invincible to kill. However, he quickly comes to find out, being immortal isn't what it seems. He cannot recover from wounds: He can still recieve wounds, they'll just appear on his body with him not having much effect from it, though, it will slow his movements down depending which area was hit.
He quickly combines his 'immortality' spell with a 'regeneration' spell; both making it more fiercer for someone who holds both inside their body.
This along, didn't satisfy him. He wanted more! And so, he goes in research 'Demonic Evolution (lack for a better name)'. He knows, after he finds away to evolve further in a demonic state: He'll become even more powerful. And he reaches it over time!
While he's doing all of this, and getting his men to get the necessary requirements.
He figures it would be best to have animals like creatures to obey him. And so. He creates them. Not without knowing all of there weaknesses and power: He writes these information's down. Also... During the evolving stage of these creatures. He de-ranks them into shadow creatures so they could move faster by using the casting shadow's in the world. Though, there more invulnerable to direct light; like fire, lightning, sun-rays/sun-light, any form of light that can slow them down or kill them (got any ideas for these? Give them away!).
My plan for the shadow creatures is this - Have the main character and his team find this out, and quickly act to either rid of them or have them undercontrol. One of the final battle scenes ^.^ -.
